How do I forward a visitor from one page to another? (no frames)
Sometimes you need to redirect people from an existing page to a new page.
If visitors bookmark your pages, you may want to send those people to a specific area.
Choose the amount of time to delay the redirect:
Enter the path of the page to be forwarded to: (e.g. http://webstarthep.com/forwards.html)
Go to cPanel, go to File Manager.
Go to the folder for your domain name.
Edit the old file which will contain the redirect.
Copy and paste this code into the top of the file:
Save the file.
How do I create a masked forward? (frames)
You can make any website show with your domain name in the address bar and a title of your choice.
To do this, you will need to create a new home page, index.html.
Enter the title you desire for the site: (e.g. Welcome to Web Start Help!)
Enter the entire URL of the site to be forwarded to: (e.g. http://www.webstarthelp.com/forwards.html)
